LBS Insurance Group has existed in northern Wisconsin since 1958. In 1994, Don Larson sold the agency to his son, Jeff Larson, and Terry Burns. The agency production was predominantly personal lines and commercial lines of business. In 1999, Ed Scheider became a third equal owner, rounding the agency with a benefits division. As an independent agency, we work with our customers to provide them with competitively priced, comprehensive insurance for their personal needs, as well as their business needs. We can offer insurance quotes from many well-known companies, such as General Casualty, Integrity, West Bend, Allstate, Auto Owners, Secura, Atrium, WPS, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Humana, just to name a few.

LBS Insurance Group has offices throughout northern Wisconsin. In the fall of 1999, we added an office in Hurley, Wisconsin. Effective July 1, 2003, we acquired Wisconsin Insurance Associates of Minocqua and Wisconsin Insurance North of Mercer, Wisconsin. Our agency offers insurance products for Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota.

In April 2003, Terry Burns and Ed Scheider bought out Jeff Larson. In June of 2003, Richard W. Rockwood became a minority owner, and the agency added an office in Superior, Wisconsin, which is known as Rockwood Insurance Agency - LBS Insurance Group.
